Ok, responding to a a few questions I’ve gotten in:
1) No, I don’t know why iTunes hasn’t updated the recent Playlist episodes. I’ve checked and validated the feeds, and they all seem to work. I believe the issue is somewhere on Apple’s end (I know quite a few folks having the same issue).
2) In my continuing efforts to organize my schedue, The Playlist will become a monthly show. The next episode is called “Crimewatch” will pop up in March April (having to reapply upgrades to various softwares-ackkkk!!!) . Thank you for your patience.
3) The “pilot” for Weekend Justice version 3.0 went up on Need Coffee over the weekend. I think Widge has licked the audio issues in the test run- so hopefully the first proper show will ditch the underwater sound :-).
4) RE: My Weekend Justice pick in that test run was Distortion by The Magnetic Fields. And if you swing by the Nonesuch Records store and order the CD, you get a high quality (320kbs, people) download of the album as well.
While you’re there, pick up the There Will be Blood score by Johnny Greenwood. It’s a brilliant score, and the lack of Oscar love is criminal.
5) Current Projects are as follows:
- Need Coffee dot com: General Commentary, Television News and Reviews (when TV resumes after the strike, that is..), Music Forum Moderator, Ning area content guy and occational talking head on the Weekend Justice podcast.
- The Playlist : Monthly Episodes resume in March.
- Undesirable Notions : Flash fiction in small, bite sized doses. coming soon.
- Worlds Tour: yep, still scribbling. trying to get the levels right. we’re closer still- stay tuned.
6) Oh yes, there will be cons. We’ll talk about that soon….
Wedding craziness is over, and back from honeymoon. Literally. Just got home. Five Minutes Ago.

Might have some Dragon Con news this week as well- waitin on confirmations and such.

Midnight. Athens. 2007. One year on…
I got together with the majority of my former SCA Shire last night and realized I missed actually being in a group. So K & I have decided to make the ATL rounds again to see what might be a good fit. You’ve all been warned…..
Working on composing the “birthday show” whilst on the road. I’m trying not to make it too depressing. No really.
Yeah. I’ll be 31. I had been trying avoid the thought all week. But here we are. But honestly-it’s a different place than before. And I’m decidedly all the better for it.
Got with some friends today and may have a little something coming up. Long term, though- and their tale to tell. But lining up new things, sketching out some Worlds Tour stuff.
and otherwise Fitter, Healthier, More Productive.
