From Somewhere, Volume Two

Yet another episode of that fine musical showcase known as Randomizer will be unleashed upon the interwebs Tomorrow Morning (04.10.10) at 9AM EST. Feel Free to tune in.

Said programme will feature new things from The Hold Steady, Harlem, Sharon Jones & the Dapkings, Jonsi, the always wacky (and sometimes nudist) Erykah Badu + more.

This programme will also contain a PLAYLIST! on ”things you consider wrong”, and the 80’s Indulgence.

Said programme will also be available for streaming shortly after the conclusion of the live session, for those who prefer sleeping in.

WHEN THE PAWN….- n. Vicious mockery of unusual or long  (most likely concept) album titles that seem overly pretentious or non-sensical. The reference comes from the 1999 Fiona Apple release “When The Pawn..”  The full album title reads:

“When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king
What he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight
And he’ll win the whole thing ‘fore he enters the ring
There’s no body to batter when your mind is your might
So when you go solo, you hold your own hand
And remember that depth is the greatest of heights

As we all do, I usually juggle a lot of information on a daily basis.  Most of which gets used and digested in one format or another. This will be a somewhat scattered digest of that information- which may not or may not be expanded upon here or elsewhere at a later point when I’ve had a chance to properly have a chance to process it.  I’ll add to on as I come across things in the day. Ta-da! Content you have to check back for! Fun, yes?
