Looks like oft delayed Guns N Roses album Chinese Democracy  will get released in late November via iTunes and Best Buy stores.

I’m of two minds on this:

1) I get a free can of Dr. Pepper. Yea!

2) Chinese Democracy will actually come out before World’s Tour does, and it might come out before I manage to get any new work up. So, yeah- that’s depressing…

The Matter of Pitchfork’s Black Kids Review

Pitchfork is a curiously annoying website. Their news section has become increasingly narrow in scope. And their jokey editorial stance of late makes Wizard look like Pulitzer Prize material.

As Indie Rock in general is having a bit of an identity crisis, so too is Pitchfork. And nowhere is this more evident that its album review section.
